Say Something And More Songs Inspired By Orphan Black 206

May 27th, 2014

Orphan Black 206 Playlist

This week’s episode of Orphan Black showed something we’ve never seen before – a happy Helena! It was shocking and a bit unnerving, but we liked it. Of course, no episode of Orphan Black would be complete without some incredible twists and terrifying dramatic moments. Check out what inspired us this week in our playlist for Episode 206 – [To Hound] Nature In Her Wandering.

Watch new episodes of Orphan Black every Saturday at 9E/6P on Space. Catch up on episodes online anytime at Space.ca.

Home, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

One of the things we loved about this week’s episode was getting to see Helena, who has endured such a violent and sad life, get a little bit of happiness. First, it was on a road trip with her seestra, Sarah. Of course, they need a track for Helena’s first road trip. Plus, wherever they’re headed is home to Helena as long as Sarah is there.

Love Somebody, Maroon 5

Next, Helena found another moment of happiness with tow truck driver Jesse. Whether it’s her sister, or Kira, and now Jesse, Helena’s main goal in life is simple – to be loved. I’m hoping it’s not the last we see of Jesse. I like happy Helena. Much less scary.

She Looks So Perfect, 5 Seconds of Summer

While most of us still feel a bit of terror every time we see Helena, bar dweller Jesse had the opposite reaction, falling head over heels for the Ukrainian blond. Maybe it’s the way she chews with her mouth open, or maybe it’s how good she is at arm wrestling.

Say Something, A Great Big World Feat. Christina Aguilera

On a mission to find Duncan, one of the scientists behind the creation of the clones, Sarah gets more than she bargained for, finding Mrs. S. as well. The two women continue to be at war, and though I believe Mrs. S. has been trying to protect Sarah all these years, she needs to do a better job of explaining exactly what her role has been in Project Leda and the underground movement. I’m getting close to giving up on her.

Tomorrow Will Be Kinder, Secret Sisters

From Cosima’s successful foray into Leekie’s experimental treatment to Alison’s new friendship with Vic, the clones are beginning to feel like maybe tomorrow will be kinder. Maybe.
