SBTRKT “Trials of the Past” (Video)

Before you get too excited, this isn’t a brand new SBTRKT tune. It’s another single from his 2011 self-titled debut. But considering I only really started giving the album love about six months ago, I can vouch for it having legs. Also, the video for “Trials of the Past” is a real doozy, using a sci-fi narrative set in a barbershop. And before you start to cringe over what appears to be a girl bloodied and injured, take some solace in knowing she’s an android. Fake blood, no pain, but still a little gruesome for the squeamish. Viewer discretion advised, I guess.
