Scream 4 confirmed

Scream 4 has been given the green light by Dimension Films, confirming that the fourth installment will indeed be directed by Wes Craven. It had been previously confirmed that Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette and writer Kevin Williamson were all back on board for another Scream, but Craven had yet to confirm he would direct.

Dimension has even given a tentative release date: April 12th, 2011. With little more than a year to get the fourth Scream underway, chances are it will begin shooting this summer.

Can’t wait for the spoilers to start leaking! Any bets that Neve Campbell’s character gets killed off in the first 10 minutes?
