Happy St. Patrick’s day all you lucky leprechauns! I hope you’re all wearing some green and enjoying (responsibly!) the day’s festivities. I’m sure all the famous Irishmen will be celebrating today – you know, people like Colin Farrel, Pierce Brosnan, Liam Neeson, U2, Good Luck Bear from the Care Bears – but what about the celebs that want to be Irish? Since everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, let’s have a look at celebs that want to be Irish all year long.

Britney Spears

Miss Britney has been trying to get the luck of the Irish on her side since she released her 2000 hit song Lucky. Judging by the car accidents, divorce, head shaving, umbrella fights and MTV VMA performances, Spears could use a few more four leaf clovers this year.

Kanye West

Now I ain’t saying he’s a Gold Digger, but Yeezy has never tried to hide his love of all things gold and blingy. Including the top of girlfriend Amber Rose’s head.

Lady Gaga

A famous philosopher once said, “It’s not easy being green.” It’s also not easy finding a bag that matches a outfit made out of that famous philosopher. Ugh! I wish I hadn’t forgotten my Miss Piggy Purse at home! It would have gone perfect with this! Stay green, Gaga.

Ashlee Simpson

Like any good Irishmen would do, when Ashlee Simpson found herself outed for lip-synching on Saturday Night Live, she distracted the audience with a jig. Now, if only she could have thought of something to distract us from that jig.
