This year is shaping up to be one where young, strong female leads are represented more than they’ve ever been at the box office. First on March 23 with the release of The Hunger Games starring Jennifer Lawrence as warrior Katniss Everdeen and later this summer with Kristen Stewart as the lead in Snow White and The Huntsman.
Two behind the scenes videos of the film have been released with Stewart, along with stars Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin and director Rupert Sanders discussing the spectacular sets and cast. Hemsworth’s brother Liam also stars in The Hunger Games. Those Aussies really know how to land great films.
