Cheerfully pronounceable Sega Bodega is another name for Glaswegian-in-Catalan Salvador Navarette (what a name already), a Glasgow producer who has released his first video music today, hazy, abstract and haunting clips here and there either about getting stuck in a routine or just a wired dream with sensuality. The mild coloured video with dramatic scenes kinda pulls the viewer into his world. The track, “Konerak,” is a bit glimmering and simultaneously kinda sinister tune, it employs fine keys, repetitive vocal chops and club percussion that makes it sound easy and rhythmic to listen. “Konerak” is taken from his debut EP 34, which is available April 1st on Week of Wonders. He creates a unique take on UK dance music that touches on elements of hip-hop and two-step.
