Terri Timely (Corey Creasey and Ian Kibbey) are the directing duo behind such videos as St. Vincent’s “Cruel,” and Modest Mouse’s “Invisible,” and now they’ve taken the reigns for Seventeen Evergreen’s “Polarity Song.” Terri Timely have the gift of creating totally original, dark music videos, like the one for “Polarity Song,” where things go awry in a thrift store.
If you’re new to Seventeen Evergreen like I am, they’re a duo (Caleb Pate and Nephi Evans) based out of San Francisco and they released their debut album, Life Embarrasses Me On Planet Earth in 2005. “Polarity Song” is off of their EP, Psyentist, which is due out on November 28 via Lucky Number.
