She&Him is comprised of Zooey Deschanel (vocal, piano, banjo) and Matt Ward (guitar, production), who produce a sound bubbling over with ’50s type ballads, blues riffs, and a little bit of rock’n'roll!

The first album titled Volume One is like taking a step back in time, and being submerged in the raw emotions and extremes of romance. In an interview with Paste Magazine, M. Ward announced that She&Him were working on their second album. Ward was excited to spill the news that quirky-movie-star Zooey Deschanel has written loads of new songs for this album.

It was later confirmed that She&;Him have Volume Two set to release in Spring 2010, containing eleven original tracks and two covers. Deschanel described it as a “feel-good album”, to complement Volume One. She&Him’s Volume Two, has the potential to be among the top albums of 2010.

Musically, the future is looking bright! With rumoured LPs from Arcade Fire, and The Strokes, and confirmed releases by Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, The Walkmen and She&Him! Keep your heads up, eyes peeled, and ears open – 2010 is not playing games!
