Sky Ferreira releases music video for Sad Dream

Sky Ferreira is a chameleon of sounds. Moving from the 80s vibe of her single Everything is Embarassing, Ferreira brings the country twang to her new track, Sad Dream. Matching the folky vibe of the song, the video shows Ferreira living out her Sad Dream with a controlling love interest in a tired desert town.

Delivering her signature blank stare into the camera for the majority of the video, Ferreira sings with a forlorn plea about a lost love with the chorus “Only ever in dreams I wrap my arms around you / And standing in the water with me, / I can tell you what I wanna tell you / And I hope it’s not just a bad dream, / hope it’s not just a sad dream”.
