Slash chooses Fergie for upcoming album

Slash gave us the scoop last night on why he chose Fergie as a guest vocalist on his upcoming album. According to Slash, Fergie is a rock singer at heart making her the perfect fit for the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist. He says:

Well I knew her when she was a closet rock and roll singer. I’d heard her do it and I was blown away by her ability. It’s a trip cause in the pop realm shes one thing but to really know her and what she likes to do it something else. So she had this great voice and I had this one song that I thought “Fergie should sing on this!”
