Small 2 Big: TV hits up the Big Screen!

Just over 24 hours until Degrassi Takes Manhattan! Are you ready! Can you believe it? Not only are your Degrassi favourites coming at you every day four days straight next week (check out all the deets at the official show page HERE on Much!) but they’re also delivering a two-hour movie TOMORROW!

Doncha just love when your favourite shows turn into movies? It’s like watching a never ending episode!!

The Simpsons: After a few lackluster seasons, the movie brought back America’s favourite yellow family to pop cultures forefront! And didn’t you just love the beginning that captures all television-into-movie creations?

Homer: I can’t believe we’re paying to see something we get on TV for free! If you ask me, everybody in this theater is a giant sucker! Especially you! (Points to us).

Transformers: The franchise started going down hill in the second movie, but the first movie…..wow – just seeing Optimus Prime transform – its was a childhood dream come true!

Serenity: Joss Whedon already did the reverse with Buffy (started as a movie, turned into a TV show to tie up the loose ends) and here he is again, tying up loose ends. This movie fired on all cylinders, including actions scenes, the Reavers, and what was in River’s head!

Star Trek: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and outer space. You know how everyone always says Stars Wars blew people’s minds away in the 70s with its story and its effects. Yeah, this is was our generations Star Wars – the movie just earned itself a new generation of followers!

The X-Files: Not only did the show end the season on a cliff hanger, the movie picked up right after…..and then went right into the new season in the fall! Plus, you got loads more on the abductions, and exactly what the government was hiding from Mulder and Scully. Plus, that almost kiss between the two – that took like eight years to happen!
