Finale Friday 7E/4P
November 17th, 2011

On November 29th, the first two Smashing Pumpkins LPs, Gish and Siamese Dream, will be reissued and packaged with new artwork, previously unheard demos, live recordings, updates mixes and a concert DVD. Basically, it’s everything you want from the once great Chicago band, all bundled up nicely in one product. To get a sense of what’s coming, four demos have been leaked and if you’re one for hearing early, naked versions of songs, well you’re in for a treat. Debut single “I Am One” as well as Siamese Dream‘s “Today,” “Rocket” and “Disarm” have been posted by Seattle radio station 107.7 The End. With the exception of “Today,” which features Billy Corgan’s off-key vocals and comes off like a bit of an incomplete mess, they all sound quite good. I’d even argue that “I Am One” and “Disarm” sound even better than the album versions…
