Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Search

July 17th, 2007

siamesedream.jpgDrowned In Sound reports that The Smashing Pumpkins are searching for the pair of siamese twins that were featured on the cover of their (amazing) album Siamese Dream in 1993. They’ve called out to their fans in a statement on their official site to help locate the now separated twins:

“NEED HELP! There’s no one better to ask than the super fans themselves! We are trying to locate the girls that adorn the cover of Siamese Dream. [...] They are not conjoined anymore, as far as we know. Anyone with info on this send a private message to PumpkinsMediaMilitia.”

Reminder: Siamese Dream was an amazing album. It’s received the distinction of making many ‘top albums of all time’ lists (Rolling Stone, Q, Pitchfork, Blender all agree), plus it was nominated for a Grammy.
