So Lohan’s Record Isn’t Coming Out.

Okay, working at MuchMusic it’s obvious that I have a passion for music. Also, I have to understand how this pop culture machine works. We might not all like it, but I for one, have to accept it. You know who else has to accept it? The other people who are tightly involved in the smooth sailing of the machine. People like Lindsay Lohan.

So Lohan has a new album coming out. But the record company in the UK has apparently dropped it because she won’t promote it. She won’t talk about it. She won’t go there to mention it.

Lindsay, why the hell would you release it then? It’s one thing having a song on your latest movie’s soundtrack. But if you’re releasing an album why do it half assed? Do you assume people are just going to pick it up? Or do you really not care about your music that much? And if you don’t care about your music that much. Why – for the love of god, WHY – release it?

Damnit!
