The Cast Of SYTYCD, Season 3

There’s a pool of froth foaming out of my mouth right now.

On the weekend Wendy casually mentioned to me that tickets for So You Think You Can Dance Season 3‘s tour were either about to go on sale, or had just gone on sale. Panic ensued.

Allow me to provide some backstory:

During Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance (which you can read about in alarming detail right here), adoration for Benji & Heidi reached such a fever pitch that Toronto’s Hummingbird Centre show sold out in a matter of SECONDS. We lined up at a shady Ticketmaster outlet in the middle of nowhere to try to beat the crowds and left empty handed. There was no way this was going to happen again this season. We HAD TO get tickets.

Last night I logged on to Ticketmaster and saw that the Toronto date (November 1) was going to be at Air Canada Centre and tickets were $35-55. Great! An upgrade of 13,000 seats compared with last year’s venue. There was no way it could possibly be sold out.

…

I couldn’t even buy ONE ticket. Completely sold out. Extreme anger building up.

Next stop, Craigslist. Tickets in the 200-levels selling for $120 apiece.

Grrr.

As an aside, does Lacey Schwimmer (hearts!) not look like a ‘hot’, less man-ish version of Lisa Marie Presley?!
