Some Musical News

Musicals are so much fun! Good musicals have a little something that lifts your spirits and makes you smile. I love them for that reason; I always have. So, I bring you two very different musical related stories!

On Wednesday night my sister, mom, cousin and I went to see the new Disney movie Enchanted. It was so cute! I know that is not the best way to describe something but I left the theatre completely aww-ing. It’s a new classic prince and princess story with a twist. Adorable without being too sweet. The songs are quite catchy too! If you feel like a “feel good” simple movie, go with no expectations for some fun.

NME just reported that Franz Ferdinand are thinking about writing their own musical. I would so go! Imagine how catchy it would be! We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, I’m looking forward to their third album [Editor's Note: Look how detailed and in-depth that page is!].

P.S. I’M SO EXCITED FOR SWEENEY TODD! Johnny Depp + Tim Burton = always spine chillingly creepy yet cool!
