Pop stars – and friends – Rihanna and Katy Perry were tied for most number one hits on the Billboard charts, but the former has recently pulled forward with her tenth number one song for “Stay,” featuring Mikky Ekko.
Rihanna, who earned her first number one song in 2006 with “SOS”, now holds a new record in Billboard’s 20-year history, which is impressive for the number of years she’s been on the charts for.
Surely, Perry will catch up soon with her upcoming record. Last week, we reported that the singer is currently halfway done her follow-up to 2010’s Teenage Dream so watch out, Rihanna!Tweet
