Soundgarden Reunites for 2010

I just realized Soundgarden used to be hot.

After twelve years, Soundgarden has announced plans for a reunion tour this year.

Frontman Chris Cornell tweeted yesterday about the news, saying “The 12 year break is over & school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!”

Tensions amongst members were obvious while on tour in support of Down on the Upside, their final album released in 1996. Internal issues led to the break up, and Cornell’s solo work and the creation of Audioslave followed shortly.

No dates have been announced for the 2010 tour yet.
