Spotlight On….Pretty Little Aria!

She’s mysterious. She’s sexy. And boy does she have a secret!

Aria Montgomery was living the good life in the town of Rosewood with her four good friends. But then everything went downhill when her BFF Alison disappeared. Soon afterward Aria was whisked away by her family to live in Europe for a year. Of course whisked away really translates as her dad needing space after ending an affair with a student. An affair Aria discovered but agreed with her father to keep it a secret from Mrs. Montgomery.

But there’s no place like home and the Montgomery’s are all back in town. Before school starts Aria needs a little bit of space herself being back in her old hood (she is her father’s daughter). So, by space we mean lip-locking with the hottest frat boy around, Ezra Fitz.

Now that getting a little tongue on her second day back in town is crossed off her list, Aria can return to school and everything will be back to normal. Oops! Spoke too soon: it’s time for homeroom and guess who’s Aria’s teacher? He goes by Mr. Fitz now! Time to rethink that space you needed Aria? But like father like daughter; Aria and Mr. Fitz keep it up. They think it’s their little secret until “A” decides to be the third wheel. Aria now has a lot more to lose than just her dignity now.

“A”’s first move is to tell Aria’s mom all about daddy dearest’s indiscretions. That leaves Aria and her brother (who now has anger issues and take them out on the family and school) to deal with their father as mommy moves out. And who does mommy flirt with one night during a terrible thunder storm during a school exam? Mr. Fitz. How weird is that?

Mr. Fitz and Aria do try and end their relationship here and there (he leaves for another job in New York and she decides to see another boy her own age) but passion is passion and late one night during her friend Mona’s “glamping” party, she steals away and sees Mr. Fitz alone in the woods. But so does someone else….

I don’t think Aria’s secret is a secret anymore!
