St. Vincent “4AD Session” (Video)

From the Shangri-La Studios in Brooklyn, New York, Annie Clark, AKA St. Vincent, performs four songs from her latest album, Strange Mercy for a 4AD Session. Along with her three-piece band, they perfectly execute “Chloe In The Afternoon,” “Surgeon,” “Strange Mercy,” and “Year Of The Tiger.” If you’re like me and have had Strange Mercy on constant rotation, this video is for you, because the band slightly switch up the arrangements and add some subtleties that enhance each song completely. Directored by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the incredibly shot video captures Clark’s stunning beauty, effortless talent, and the intensity she brings to each song.
