Stars promote education in trailer for The Real Change Project

April 10th, 2013

Bieber Artists for Change 2

Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Pitbull, Jason Mraz, Lady Antebellum and Matthew Morrison are among the stars teaming up to promote education for The Real Change Project: Artists for Education.

The TV concert will have stars returning to their hometowns to visit the school teachers that inspired them in their childhood. The teachers and students of those stars’ former schools get treated to surprise concert by the stars.

“Through education, you can be whatever you want to be no matter what you come from or where you came from,” says rapper Pitbull in the trailer.

“Teaching is not only passing off information and facts, it’s passing off care and attention. There’s a great respect I have for teachers,” says actor Matthew Morrison, who plays the choir teacher Mr. Schue on the show Glee.

“All it takes is one individual to inspire one other individual,” adds Jason Mraz on the significance of teachers’ influence on students.

The Real Change Project: Artists for Education airs at 7 p.m. on April 23. Are you planning to watch it?
