Stars run with the Olympic torch

Kardinal Offishall had the honour of running with the Olympic torch here in Toronto last night.

“This is probably one of the most amazing moments I’ve had in my life so far,” the rapper said. “I have been training, I have been training but the good thing is my management ticked off the default ‘walk’ but I have been practicing my strut.”

And Kardi did strut – before lighting the torch of the next runner and getting a bunch of congratulatory high fives from fans.

Also running yesterday was Canadian director Ivan Reitman who handed the flame to his director son Jason. Jason’s latest movie Up In The Air scored six Golden Globe nominations this week.

So You Think You Can Dance Canada host Leah Miller also ran with the Olympic torch yesterday.
