Hmmm.. I wonder where Stephane Dion is.

Liberal leader Stephane Dion just dropped by to chat with Hannah Simone and Devon Soltendieck about his party’s platform - what he plans to do about arts funding, affordable education and the environment. He did not call anybody “maverick” or wink at the audience.

I find it really amusing how out of place he looks.

But the fact that he’s game to come in and sit on a box of toys (and, you know, do an hour long interview and answer questions and actually acknowledge/see the value in young voters) speaks volumes about who he is. Much isn’t a natural environment for news makers of the non-Britney variety (which is to say, people who do stuff beyond make records and tabloid headlines), I feel compelled to issue mad respect/props their way for making the effort.
