Stereos: An Update From Dan

What’s happenin! Man, I don’t even know where to begin… the last few months have been a blur!

We wrapped up our first headlining cross Canada tour about 2 weeks ago. I remember half way through the dates I already felt anxiety about the tour ending, just from becoming good friends with all the bands and meeting so many amazing fans I didn’t want it to end! But, we ended the tour on the highest of notes, in our new hometown of Toronto (the largest attended show of the tour!). We had 2 more shows in Hamilton the next day that we unfortunately had to cancel – Pat came down with something like the flu and was unable to even speak.

The good news though, is that Pat is already back at 100% and back in the studio. As well, we felt so badly about cancelling the 2 final shows we’ve rescheduled them into 1 big show on Jan. 22 at the Wentworth Room in the Hamilton Convention Centre. Everyone who bought tickets for the Dec. 20 show, your tickets will be honored on Jan. 22. We also have made more tickets available… you can get them here [click here].

We were then back in Toronto for about 24 hours before we flew home to Edmonton AB to spend Christmas with our families. This year of holidays were the best yet for me, just because it’s been so long since we’ve had time to see our families. My parents live on a horse farm, so coming home wouldn’t be the same without farm work. From feeding the horses, loading hay, and barn repairs I gotta say I picked the right career playing music. Farm work did teach me a lot about work ethic, so I gotta be thankful for that. After Christmas we were already ready to get back to TO and back at work.

So, now we are back and working hard getting ready for 2010, this year is gonna be our year to take over. So get ready young world, 2010 is gonna be an amazing year!!!
