Stupid Movie Posters

They say you should never judge a book by its cover, but I’m sure the same can’t be said for movies and their posters. Case in point: Kat and I have been laughing non-stop at the movie poster for the newly released horror flick One Missed Call. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Who is that silly-looking person with the screaming mouths as eyes and the up-turned pig noses as furrowed brow? And if his face is made up of so many mouths, which one does he use to talk when using his fancy Motorola Razr?

The movie’s tagline goes as follows: “What Will It Sound Like When You Die?”

Well, if this is the guy who is killing me, my death will sound like pure unadulterated laughter.

I have yet to see this movie (God willing, I never do) but if the poster is any indication, I can only imagine how awful it most likely is.

  4. wow mark, that movie DOES look stupid. the poster AND the premise. and everyone’s head in that poster looks photoshopped on. WTH?

  5. the true tragedy here is that two great actors are in this movie - shannyn sossamon and ed burns. this is a travesty.
