Suede “Barriers” (MP3/Stream)

The last time we heard a new Suede song was a decade ago. If you’ve forgotten “Attitude,” well, you’re not alone. But the once-great UK band have not just fully reunited but they have a brand new album called Bloodsports due in March. To give us a taste of what Suede circa 2K13 sounds like, they’ve also dropped a brand new song called “Barriers,” which is quite brilliant, uplifting and not the glammy stomper I thought it’d be. It is not, however, the lead single, which will reportedly be “It Starts and Ends With You.”
