Summertime!

Hello summer, or at least, goodbye to the remnants of winter mornings which I am continuing to experience on my morning run and on my walks to work. With summer comes a plethora of things my fair weather friends. Firstly, warm weather, obviously. Let me rephrase, RIDICULOUSLY WARM WEATHER (sidenote: I’m not a huge fan of summer).
Let me explain; I can’t stand extremes, cold or hot alike. Give me a sunny 21 degree spring or fall afternoon, give me a cool fall evening, perfect for anything really. Secondly, with summer comes the MMVAs. Everyone here (VJs and others) is getting very excited. With excitement comes anxiety on my part, however, which is one of my pitfalls.
The question remains, how am I going to out-do the near perfection of a blazer I sported for the event last year? The answer; well that’s where the anxiety comes in. Vanity aside, let’s move on. Thirdly, summer concerts (namely AFI) and fourthly all those other things that are great, romance, swimming alone in an empty lake, yoga early in the morning, veganism, t-shirts, patios at 11pm, (insert you favourite things here everyone)!
Most importantly, enjoy your summer, be safe and be good to one another.

The only really good reason I like Summer is not you don’t have to get all dressed up for the cold… But it sucks you got to wear a hat, sun glasses, sun block… There are the goods and Bads…
