Sure do chief/tiger/boss!

Lastnight went out with the grrl and some friends to see the almighty Fischerspooner. The show was down at The Guvernment, which I’d usually complain about however it was definitely in keeping with the style of the show: excessive! For those of you who’ve not had the chance to see the videos (there are four on the DVD that comes with the limited edition version) or any footage of their shows, but they are known for touring with anywhere from 20-40 people in the group including designers, dancers, make-up people, etc… Most of the show was spent with about 10 people on stage at one time in elaborate costumes and full make up. We were fortunate enough to grab a spot right up front where we were subsequently showered with fake blood! Gt’s…. Gt’s all the way.

And as usual… another Warp Records act cancels out from under me. That’s right kiddies, Chris Clark will not be coming to Toronto on the 15th… making this the third (I think) Warp artist in about 12 months to cancel. That’s it, I’m moving to the UK!

I didn’t see you at the show lastnight Hannah. Are you not feeling the electro-clash sting (oooo… don’t I sound like a rock snob!)?
