Does anyone watch Survivor anymore? I can name no less than four people who do, so there. And I’m gonna TALK ABOUT IT!

When Survivor decided to do an All Star season a few years ago, I was pumped. Of course, it turned into a pile of anti-climactic tripe (tripe, however, that I own on DVD), and spawned the short-lived Boston Rob & Ambuh sensation. Fine, I’m not gonna hate. I totally watched The Amazing Race when they were on it, and I looooved them. What am I getting at here?

Oh, yes. The new season of Survivor starts on February 7, and this time, it’s personal. No, this time, it’s “fans versus favourites” - so they’ve got a tribe of newbies and a tribe of seasoned past players (beyond the All Stars season). The premise is quite appealing to me, and let’s just hope it doesn’t turn into another boring numbers game.

Yau-Man! Remember? The little awesome old guy? Love him!

Ozzy! The super athletic hottie who couldn’t be stopped by ANYONE. Remember? Remember? You loved him. We all did.

James! Hot, hot James, who made the biggest mistake ever by not playing one of his TWO immunity idols. Teamed with Ozzy … omg. (Wipes sweat off brow)

Jonny Fairplay! Biggest piece of douche on the show ever, but hopefully (please, god) he’ll make it interesting.

Any Survivor fans out there? Excited or turned off by the concept?
