T-RexXx is joined by Waka Flocka Flame on this week’s RapCity

Waka Flocka Flame is an anomaly in hip-hop right now. A shot-caller, an independent, and a distinct force in the game, he’s one of the few stars right now doing his own thing without selling out or seeking approval. Running with his 1017 Brick Squad crew, he’s a prolific mixtape artist who can collaborate with everyone from his best friend Gucci Mane to Drake, N.O.R.E. to Nicki Minaj.

T-RexXx had a chance to meet up with Waka to discuss working and touring with Drizzy Drake, taking Toronto’s own Reema Major under his wing, and why he didn’t care about hip-hop until this year.
