Green Day’s American Idiot is coming to Broadway. The musical, which originally premiered at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in California last fall, will open on April 20th at the St. James Theatre in New York City. Some preview shows, however, will begin in March.

Green Day’s American Idiot musical is coming to Broadway. After a successful run at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in San Francisco that ends this Sunday, the production based on Green Day’s 2004 album of the same name will move up coast to New York City.
