ABDC Spotlight On…ICONic Boyz

They’re not just awesome dancers for a group of kids. They’re awesome hands down whoever you compare them too! ICONic Boyz are iconic for a reason – they’re the first (and youngest, obvs) group of children/tweens to compete on the show. But they’ve put in as much work, rehearsal, sore limbs, and jaw-dropping performances as all the other adults, and they’ve got what it takes to go up against I aM mE in the final competition.

America’s Best Dance Crew Season 6: Round 5

Pon bed pon floor against wall / We sex dem all till dem call mi / Im di girls dem sugar dats all / Welcome di king of di dancehall!!

This week was all about crowning a dancehall king! And every crew got their feet jumping and their hips ready to wine as they moved to the songs for Rihanna!

Rihanna’s trusted choreographer, Tenisha, was on hand to teach each crew a specific dancehall move for their performance, and then to check that the move was authentic in the final rundown.

Tonight marks Round 5 of ABDC with Rihanna, but let’s refresh on what each team did last week, and what they need to bring to the stage tonight to stay in the came!

Katy Perry brought her pop act to ABDC and challenged all the crews to create something spectacular based on her songs. Whether it was rolling waves to California Gurls, creating a casino for Waking Up In Vegas, or fanning their feathers to Peacock, each crew straight up brought it to the stage!

America’s Best Dance Crew Season 6: Round 1

ABDC is back! And Randy Jackson has crowned season six the “Season of the Superstars!” with 10 teams competing to shock your socks off with flips, jumps, twists, hips, hops, defying gravity and physics, and how bendy your body can be! Judging these years crop of dancers are ABDC alumni D-Trix, the ever-talented MC Lil’ Mama and rocking the post-boy band look, JC Chasez!

Round One introduces us to the first round of shocking moves as five teams from around the U.S (and the world!) face off as they work their magic on stage to Lil’ Wayne songs. The show kicks off with all five teams jamming to Six Foot Seven Foot, and the action literally keeps going non-stop through to the end!
