Wyclef asks for help in Haiti

Wyclef Jean is seeking help for the earthquake ravaged nation of Haiti. The Haitian born musician issued a statement asking people for assistance after Tuesday’s disaster took the lives of thousands. Wyclef said he “cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce top earning couple

Jay-Z and Beyonce have the number one spot on Forbes’s list of top earning couples. Together, the Knowles-Carters earned $122 million between June 2008 and June 2009, according to the magazine. Brad and Angelina were only number three with a pathetic $55 million in combined earnings. How embarrassing.

Angelina Jolie fired for being too famous

Here’s something that doesn’t happen to Angelina Jolie that often: the actress was dropped from the fashion label St. John’s ad campaign for being too famous. According to the company’s CEO, Jolie “overshadowed the brand.” He’s probably right, as we’d never heard of them before this.

Brangelina, Clooney out for UNICEF

George Clooney, Brangelina, Jeremy Piven and Selena Gomez were just a few stars who turned out last night for the Unicef Ball in Beverly Hills. Selena traveled to Ghana earlier this year on a Unicef mission.
