Will Breaking Dawn be released in 3D?

The fine people over at Summit Entertainment are debating whether Breaking Dawn, the final film installment in the Twilight series, should be shown in 3D. The decision must be made by the end of the month, as filming is set to start soon and special 3D cameras will be necessary for the film.

Dear John beats Avatar

Avatar has finally been dethroned. The highest-grossing movie of all time was knocked from its #1 position by Dear John, the romantic drama starring Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum. Oscar nominations announced!

The Oscar nominations were announced Tuesday morning and leading the way with nine each are Avatar and The Hurt Locker. Both films are up for Best Picture, along with The Blind Side, District 9, An Education, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, A Serious Man, Up and Up In The Air.

Avatar is just too darn good

So, my last post on Avatar was about people who watch the film and become depressed at the thought of never seeing the world of Pandora. Today, I’m telling you that Chinese theaters have stopped showing the film, because it is too successful. I’m seriously not making this shizz up.
