February is Black History Month, an important and special time on the calendar for all people of African descent because it is a time to reflect upon where we have been as a collective and where we are going in the future. It’s a time to remember all of the pioneers who led the way for Black people to be judged as first class citizens worldwide and a time to celebrate our achievements in all realms of society from politics to sports to entertainment and everything in between.
