Celebs dress up for Halloween

Celebs got into the Halloween spirit this past weekend.

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon went with an angel motif while Kelly Osbourne and her boyfriend dressed up as eggs and bacon. Christina Aguilera and her son Max dressed as skeletons while Heidi Klum and hubby Seal were virtually unrecognizable in matching black crow costumes. New Moon star Kellan Lutz channelled his inner superhero while Paris Hilton shocked absolutely nobody by wearing next to nothing with her on-again boyfriend Doug Reinhardt as the tooth fairy.

Christina Aguilera’s hunger campaign

Christina Aguilera is also doing her part for charity.

Aguilera helped launch the World Hunger Relief 2009 on Thursday with a public service announcement featuring her song ‘Beautiful’.

The singer said the hunger issue became more important to her after she became a mother.

Christina Aguilera working with M.I.A., Goldfrapp, Santigold

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she’s working with some top female artists for her upcoming album.

Aguilera says that Sia, Santigold, Goldfrapp, Ladytron, Le Tigre and M.I.A. have all contributed to her fourth studio album.

“I think I’m most proud of this work than I’ve ever been, just because I worked with so many amazing and incredibly talented people,” she said in a recent interview with A.P.E Radio.

The Neptunes and Major Lazer have also been revealed as producers for the untitled album.

Added the singer, “I really like to step outside of my own box. The result was just crazy magic. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy on the record. Lots of good stuff in store!”

No release date for Christina’s new disc has been set yet.

Xtina Steps Her Game Up

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA.

Say what you want about Christina Aguilera, but she’s got a history of choosing some pretty strong producers and writers to work with. Apparently her upcoming album is no exception, if the list of producers I just eyeballed is to be believed.

According to ONTD, Xtina spoke about the new material recently, confirming that she’s just about to wrap the album. To get the final product, she collaborated with some AMAZING people, including Santigold, M.I.A., Diplo & Switch, Linda Perry (a past collaborator, of course), Le Tigre and Anjulie. Whaaaaatt!!!

I’m actually pretty interested to hear what kind of schtuff she whipped up, working with such a diverse and talented group of people - and dig that it’s majority females! Get it gurl.

* Actor Dom Delouise, an important part in everyone’s childhood, from his roles in (among other things) A Troll in Central Park, Fievel Goes West, The Secret of NIMH, and Spaceballs, passed away last night at the age of 75. I haven’t been this upset since Fievel fell off the train and we all thought he’d never see his family again… =(

* Christina Aguilera will be staring in a “Burlesque” film. No, really, it’s not what you think. Okay, nevermind, it probably is.

* James Bond and the Dalai Lama are going to help some hot English royalty to try and save the rain forest. Huh, I didn’t think you could save anything with explosions.

* Katy Perry has swine flu bling. No joke. I think she is ignoring the seriousness of the situation (but then again, so am I).

* Flaming Lips front-dude Wayne Coyne has formally apologized for insulting the Arcade Fire.
