Remember the time when I told you Twilight fans about listening to previews of the New Moon Soundtrack? Well I’m about to one up that, you can now listen to the full soundtrack (except for 4 tracks which are 30 seconds) right here!

A lot of movies in the past have been accompanied with a subpar soundtrack however this isn’t the case for Twilight’s New Moon, due out in theatres November 20. The likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Muse, The Killers & Radiohead’s Thom Yorke have all contributed to a soundtrack that is definitely going to be a hit, just like the movie will be.

Full tracklist after the jump.

New Death Cab Video! Brought to You by People Like You.

Death Cab for Cutie - Little Bribes from Ross Ching on Vimeo.

Have you ever sat down with your camera and a computer, or maybe just a computer, and made a video for your favourite song? Or maybe just imagined doing it? You can admit it, we’re all huge nerds here. I mean, at least I am.

Where I’m going with this is that this dude, Ross Ching, decided to put a video together for the Death Cab for Cutie song “Little Bribes”, from The Open Window EP. It’s this cute stop-motion thing you see above you. And it was actually good, unlike videos that maybe someone has done with a paint program: so good that DCFC said “Hey! We want to make this our official video!”, and that’s what happened.

Cool huh? Means that maybe even you with your powerpoint slides might get somewhere one day if you keep at it.

A lil bit of Monday music news!

Monday, June 29th, 2009

* MGMT, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and a German math artist (huh?) are said to guest on the new Flaming Lips LP! Should be something crazy awesome!

*There are pianos all over London England! As part of an art project titled “Play Me, I’m Yours” pianos have been placed all over the city and anyone is free to play them. That would be just lovely if you were strolling down the street and some jaunty tune came out of nowhere! Like you were in a movie!

*Indie rockers, including Sara of Tegan & Sara, TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek and Death Cab For Cutie’s Nick Harmer, share their thoughts on Michael Jackson’s tragic passing.

* The new Most Serene Republic album titled “…And The Ever Expanding Universe” comes out July 14th! If you’re a fan check out a sneak peak full stream here!

On Ben Gibbard’s solo tour a couple years ago, he started playing a wee tune called “Casino Blues”. Now it’s being released officially as a Death Cab For Cutie track called “Little Bribes”, as part of a four song EP being unveiled on Stereogum this week. The Open Door EP will be available to purchase on iTunes later this month, but for now you can preview the songs (one per day for the rest of the week) here!
