Between Phèdre and Doldrums, Toronto’s Airick Woodhead probably can’t find a minute to rest. After releasing his debut EP, Empire Sound, last year, Doldrums has now signed with Souterrain Transmissions to release his next 12″, Egypt, which will feature three new tracks. Check out the dizzying, brain-swelling title track below.

Doldrums is the work of Eric Woodhead (nee Airick), who was formerly a guitarist in Toronto-based, oddball indie rock hatchlings Spiral Beach.
