Kanye & Gaga’s Fame Kills tour officially dead

UPDATE: Lady Gaga has revealed why she and Kanye cancelled the Fame Kills tour.

Appearing at the Billboard Women in Music Event today, Gaga admitted “It was a mutual decision. Kanye’s going to take some time off. But the good news is that I’m going on tour in a few weeks.”

This comes after Gaga’s longtime choreographer Lori Ann Gibson tweeted that it was “creative differences” between the two stars that put the kibosh on the tour.

It was killed before it even began. Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s Fame Kills tour has officially been cancelled.

A week after the tour dates were announced, promoters Live Nation have pulled the plug on the massive tour and without giving a reason.

Lady Gaga talks Fame Kills tour

The biggest tour of the fall and winter is Fame Kills, the co-headlining tour of Kanye West and Lady Gaga. We got to speak with Gaga this morning and ask her what we can expect as well as that old performance footage that recently surfaced.

Gaga explained the show’s will be very collaborative events. “We’re doing the whole show together,” she said. “We share the stage… it’s a story, and I’m on one end of the arena and Kanye’s on the other.

Disturbing trailer for Kanye/Lady Gaga tour appears

Just when we thought Kanye was “taking a break,” he unleashed a disturbing video on his blog promoting his upcoming tour with Lady Gaga.

The mini-trailer features a topless Gaga lying in the hands of a man - who we assume is Kanye - while an eerie track is playing in the background.

The name of the tour, “Fame Kills”, then appears at the end.

The tour hits Canadian soil November 24th in Vancouver.
