Hope For Haiti Now and Canada For Haiti raised nearly $77 million altogether for the earthquake relief efforts on Friday. George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti telethon featured performances by Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, and Beyonce, who altered the lyrics to her song Halo for the devastated country (“Haiti I can see your Halo…”)

More big names have been added to George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti Now telethon. Coldplay have now been added as performers in London, as well as an all-star group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z and Rihanna. Also joining the star-studded benefit are performers Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige and John Legend.
