Liz Online Ep. 39: Lissie is sweet like honey

Happy Tuesday!

Now it’s no secret that we are living in a time when autotune has become a main asset of most mainstream music. A little fine tweaking here and there is not bad, but it is still refreshing to hear a raw, talented, singer-songwriter that can not only sound great recorded, but can over-exceed her talent in a live performance. That is where Lissie comes into play.

I have been following her for the past 2 years and everything she puts out, I’m in love with. The authenticity of her voice brings me back to the late 60s, early 70s where artists like Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac etc. were apart of the singer songwriter movement. Throw Lissie into that decade and she would fit right in.
