Leighton Meester, better known as Blair Waldorf, has previously stated that one of her true passions is music. Upon hearing this, critics, fans and the general public thought one thing only: Where can I buy ear plugs?

Most people were expecting a Heidi Montag situation. Cheesy music with half-assed lyrics. But when Cobra Starship came out with their song “Good Girls Go Bad”, everyone was wondering: who is that girl singing? That, my friends, is Miss Leighton Meester herself. She’s featured on one of the hottest songs of the year, and along with that, she has her own music coming out soon.

Gossip Girl Goes Gaga

I’m fairly certain that last Monday I was not the only one in a threesome induced coma. Duff and Szohr getting it on in Gossip Girl was so shocking that the prospect of the aftermath unfolding the following week made me believe that it had the potential to become the most epic episode in GG history. I didn’t even realize at the time how true that statement could be. Yes my friends, on this week’s episode The Last Days of The Disco Stick, Lady Gaga is set to perform her new single “Bad Romance”.

Lady Gaga, whose 17-year-old sister convinced her to do it, will be the third musical cameo of the season. A month ago, Sonic Youth performed at Rufus and Lily’s wedding and The Plasticines performed at last week’s cotillion ball.

After hearing this amazing news on gossipgirlinsder.com (my homepage, naturally) I began obsessively googling all the spoilers. While I didn’t watch the sneak peaks as I refuse to ruin the episode, here are the clues I’ve gathered about what to expect:

Green Day and P!nk are gonna VMA it up!

Hot off the presses I’ve got some special news for you! It has just been announced that Green Day and P!nk will be preforming at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards! Add that to previously announced performers Muse and Taylor Swift and you’ve got yourself a preference packed show!

But wait there’s more!

As you all should know by now, controversial comedian Russell Brand (who I have a crush on…don’t laugh) shall be hosting the show for the second time! The guy can’t do it all alone though, so also just announced are a few of the presenters who shall help the fellow out including Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, and Gossip Girl’s Chase Crawford!

It is going to be a hot show ladies and gents so make sure you tune in Sunday, September 13 2009 at 9 p.m. ET right here on MuchMusic!

Gossip Girl has gone from xoxo to XXX. Leighton Meester, known for her role as the trouble making Blair on Gossip Girl is in some of her own trouble now. A sex tape of her and her boyfriend that was made a few years ago has recently leaked! Eek! The drama just got real! I’m such a Gossip Girl right now.

Leighton! You’ve got tons of young fans! You have to make smart decisions girl! These things happen. A lot now that I come to think of it, there really have been quite a few celeb sex tapes. Do we think Leighton will rise above like some have or fall?
