Wanna know what’s up? I’ll tell yeah! Lots!

* Jay-Z thinks the whole Kanye West “I’mma let you finnish” Taylor Switf debacle is getting out of hand. I’mma let Jay-Z finish, but I myself think that this Kanye meme is one of THE BEST MEMES OF ALL TIME!
* In other Kanye news, his co-headlining tour with Lady Gaga is still on! Hooray? I was super duper stoked for this but now I’m not sure if I still wanna see Mr. West live… thoughts? (ps. Check Much Concerts for concert listings! Up soon!)
* Grizzly Bear will be joining Death Cab For Cutie on the New Moon soundtrack! Whether you’re a fan of the Twilight sega or not, you gotta admit - this soundtrack is going to be so good! (Pst! Hear Death Cab for Cutie’s TwiTwi song here!)
* Lovely lady Regina Spektor is going to be writing a musical based on Sleeping Beauty! If you haven’t heard the songstress’s music before check out her latest music video! now tell me that this musical wont be something really cool!

Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z went to an unlikely show together earlier this week - an indie rock concert. The duo attended the Grizzly Bear show in New York on Sunday. Jay-Z recently told us that more interesting things are happening in indie than hip-hop.
“If hip-hop continues down the road of no creativity and doing the same thing over and over again, they’ll leave the door open for indie rock. Right now they’re actually making really good music,” Jay-Z said.

If you’re a VFest fan/follower/loyal participant/lover, then you know the story by now: Ontario’s festival was to be moved from Toronto Island to Burl’s Creek, where camping and hippie-like festivities were to take place. Unfortunately, due to low ticket sales and a general lack of enthusiasm, the organizer’s decided to move el festival-o back to Toronto - but this time at Molson Amphitheatre.
A crack team of music enthusiasts and part time assassins scoped out the scene only to discover that attendance was lacking (although it filled out for Nine Inch Nails) and it turns out that the vibe was way less drunken festival-y and way more tipsy do-gooder. Still, a pleasant and even awesome time was had by all.

If you were looking for a good psychological scare today, and who isn’t, why not check out this video that New York’s Grizzly Bear just released for their song “Two Weeks”. These guys opened up for Radiohead at a whole bunch of shows last year, and I’m thinking maybe something a little strange rubbed off on them. The song itself is actually pretty good, and I am enjoying listening to it.
But holy cripesicles, it is hard to concentrate on the song when these guys look like they are dead and bloated zombies with huge anime-style eyes coming to eat me in the suits they were buried in! Did you notice how that one guy blinks his eyes at different times? What IS that? And that smile on the blond dude is not natural.
Patrick Daughters, the director, also worked with Feist on her 1234 video, which was crazy because among other things, it was filmed all in one take. I am having a hard time imagining the dude that could go from that extreme to this one.
This aside, good work Grizzly Bear dudes! You have successfully provided me with nightmares for the rest of the week.
PS: WHY are they GLOWING?!

* Surprise surprise, Wolverine tore up the box-office (with its adamantium claws) this weekend. I hear from reliable sources that the whole thing is kinda generic, though. Hmm.
* Nickleback’s Chad Kroeger is getting sued for punching another dude in the mouth. I’d make a joke about how the guy was probably insulting Chad’s band… but I think it’s implied.
* Demi Moore is stepping up to defend Madonna against media flack for dating a younger man. Which doesn’t make any sense: cougars don’t travel in packs.
* Next on ‘When Animals Attack’, I mean, also in news: Grizzly Bear wants to hunt down Snoop Dogg in Tennessee… to collaborate. Clearly, this was the only logical step from the Bear-Cat song.
* Coldplay are being accused of having plagiarized their song “Viva La Vida”. Yes, once again. The big question: can you plagiarize the same thing from three different people?
* Sugar Ray are going to be releasing a new album soon. Yeah, big deal: so are Spinal Tap. Honestly, I am more excited about the news from the joke band than this other band who sorta became a joke.
