The L.A. Complex’s Benjamin Charles Watson talks about Tariq

This season on The L.A. Complex we’ve continually been impressed by Benjamin Charles Watson’s dedicated performance of Tariq, a young hip hop producer in the middle of a complicated relationship with his in-the-closet boyfriend, played brilliantly by Andra Fuller. Watson and Fuller represent a couple that is rarely seen on TV and while their storyline is incredibly serious and important to both society and television, it doesn’t mean that we couldn’t have fun with Benjamin when he stopped by MuchMusic.

Exclusive! Much.com talks to Hot Chelle Rae about Beautiful Freaks, good hair and Zach Galifinakas

Although their name was inspired by an attractive fan who used the screen name Chelle Rae to stalk the band on MySpace, the ‘hot’ in Hot Chelle Rae has definitely become a description for the band. With two of the biggest singles in 2011, Hot Chelle Rae are a group that skyrocketed up the charts over night…after spending years on tour.

While in Toronto promoting their upcoming Beautiful Freaks tour we talked to Ryan and Nash from Hot Chelle Rae about growing up in Nashville, working ‘Zach Galifinakis’ into lyrics, a possible country song and why we still don’t hate Tonight, Tonight.

Jonathan Patrick Moore talks Degrassi, friends with benefits and more on The L.A. Complex

As Connor on The L.A. Complex, Australian actor Jonathan Patrick Moore is playing an Australian actor who moves to L.A. and gets cast in a new show. Okay, so there is a lot of life imitating art here, but Moore gives an amazing performance each week as we see his character go deeper and deeper into a dark place. How dark? You’ll have to watch The L.A. Complex every Tuesday at 9 pm ET to find out.

We talked to Jonathan about playing Connor, his character’s relationship with the rest of the cast and just how good his Degrassi knowledge really is now that he’s working for Epitome. Check out the interview after the jump!

We can’t wait to see where each character goes this season, especially when it comes to the not-so-stellar career in comedy for Nick Wagner. Nick is played by Joe Dinicol, who we sat down with to talk about working with actress and comedian Mary Lynn Rajskub, bombing in an audition and finding out just how far he went to prepare for the role of Nick.
