Lindsay Lohan dropped by record label

Surprise, surprise. Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been dropped by her record label.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Casablanca Records realized that LiLo isn’t actually a singer these days and relieved her of a contract.

Lindsay Lohan’s new gig

Lindsay Lohan was in Singapore on Wednesday to host a three-day concert in celebration of the big F1 Grand Prix that begins this Sunday. What that means, we’re not sure.
“I’m learning as I go, but I’m kind of looking forward to everything,” she said. “It’s a new experience, I’ve never been to Singapore, so I’m just kind of taking it all in.”

Thursday, May 14th, 2009* Everyone’s favourite musical trio (no, no, no, it’s the Jonas Brothers) have postponed their upcoming Mexican concert. One guess why.
* Awww, isn’t that nice? Lindsay Lohan has found another acting job. Now she can stop bumming around the tabloid section every day and be productive for a while. We hope.
* The Hills cast are speaking out about losing Lauren Conrad and replacing her with Kristin Cavallari, formerly of Laguna Beach. Not everyone is thrilled… but what else is new on Reality TV?
* SO CONFUSED! 50 Cent and Bette Midler are “thrilled” about recording a song together. This is so crazy it has to be true, I couldn’t make this kinda weird stuff up if I tried!
* Just days before Relapse hits the streets, you can download Eminem’s very first album Infinite, for free… from 50 Cent’s website? I wonder if Slim Shady asked Elton John (yes, really) for advice on that, too.
* In the midst of the recording process, Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament got majorly mugged. The dumb part: the whole thing was caught on tape, but no arrests have been made yet. Does that mean all those spy cams in my house are useless too?

But there are two kinds of info out there, my young caterpillar tractors, and some of it is WRONG.

Thursday, May 7th, 2009* In Twilight News (because we are waiting for the new film with baited breath): not-so-little Dakota Fanning has arrived in Volterra Vancouver, while Alice (aka Ashley Green) has a crush on Kings of Leon. Who doesn’t?
* Chris Brown’s lawyer is apparently planning on defending his client by pointing the finger at whoever leaked pictures of Rihanna’s injuries to the media. So the media printing a picture from after the argument caused this whole fuss? Suuuure.
* Those mysterious sources are saying that Lindsay Lohan and sorta-ex-Samantha Ronson might get back together yet again. Come on people! Make up your minds! You’re acting worse than Kate and Jack!
* Kylie Minogue is going on her first North American tour I’m sure this would be more exciting if it wasn’t happening during her fourth or fifth comeback.
* Next on Reunions from the 90’s: Third Eye Blind. GOSH. Will these flashbacks never stop?
* Interpol’s frontman is gonna be a skyscraper! Even if that makes no sense, at least there’s new music involved.
* Eminem Explores his Inner Nerd, Appears in Comic Book. Wait, what?
