It’s all about Cults this year and I can understand why. The long haired duo from Manhattan, New York have a catchy indie-pop, lo-fi sound that hooks you in from the first note. Their debut album is a front to back listen and did I mention they are the sweetest couple ever? We were rushed for time, but none the less it was delightful to catch up with them!

This was not my first interview with Lissie and it will not be my last. In my opinion she is one of the most talented singer/songwriters of our time, not to mention extremely humble and down to earth. Lissie has a sense of empowerment when on stage, owning her craft while allowing her audience to [...]

The first time I saw The Chain Gang of 1974 live, I was hooked. Last New Year’s Eve they opened for Crystal Castles in Boulder, Colorado and in my opinion, stole the show. Kamtin Mohager really built a sound for himself, something fresh, with a reflection of the past but also looking into the future. His haunting vocals remind me of a blend between Matt Berninger of The National, Robert Smith of The Cure and Dan Whitford of Cut Copy (all voices I need in my life). TCGO1974 is one of the most buzzed about bands of 2011 and they deserve all of the buzz they can get. Go get their album Wayward Fire now on iTunes! You won’t regret it.

Liz Trinnear spent three days soaking up the sun and fun (and a lot of rain) at Lollapalooza this year and just in case her bosses don’t believe that she spent the weekend working, we have the pics to prove it! Oh, and a TON of awesome interviews. Check out some amazing photos from Liz [...]

Skrillex is one of those artists who I can personally vouch for being a great guy. I met him back in the years of From First to Last and watching him grow into such a talented dub-step, electronic artist has been very inspiring. Always humble and genuine, Skrillex is a legit guy and it was awesome to catch up with him!

Of course the masses head towards Chicago every summer to experience the amazing line up that Lollapalooza never fails to deliver, but checking out the sweet fashion in front of the stage isn’t too shabby either. This weekend I saw a lot of multicolour nails, all over prints and floppy hats. Lollapalooza may be known [...]

I’m going to start this one off with a recap of Saturday night. To begin our after party adventure we went to the W Hotel where DJ Mia Moretti and violinist Caitlin Moe were doing their thing. We chatted with them for a bit while Skylar Grey performed in the background. My interview with this [...]

Holy moly, today was a great day two. Starting off our morning with a tiny sleep in was perfect and then moving over to the park for around one was great. We got caught in the rain for the beginning of the festival during Phantogram’s set, but it was the perfect ambiance for their music. [...]

Today was a rather crazy day. Starting off the day with a broken microphone cord sucked, but Kyle’s friend from Chicago came to the rescue by running to the nearest electronics store and buy a new one. Did I mention we got the cord exactly three minutes before our interview with Cults? Yeah… LUCKY Regardless, [...]

It’s here, it’s here… LOLLAPALOOZA!!!!!! I am an over-packer, especially when it comes to a weekend where anything can happen and you never know what you need and what you want to wear! Where do I begin? Well, I know a few things are for sure; a) I will be in the sun b) I [...]
