News for Thursday: Jumbleitis Edition

* Ever wonder what the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stars are doing now? Well, Heidi Pratt will be performing during the Miss Universe pageant next month (oh noes not more singing), and Stephen Baldwin is bankrupt. The two stories are otherwise unrelated.

* Grey’s Anatomy Star T.R. Knight talks about how leaving the show was the best decision… OH GOSH does that mean GEORGE IS REALLY DEAD?! Nooooooooooooo….

* Hey Twihards! You lost your Edward t-shirts!

* New CD news to go crazy about: Modest Mouse’s new album No One’s First and You’re Next! is hitting the stores August 4th (and August 18th on vinyl), and Matthew Good’s fourth solo work, Vancouver, will be around October 5th. Woo!

* And if you aren’t already tired of news about Michael Jackson’s death, then know that police have subpoenaed his nurse (he had a nurse?), and raided the office of his doctor looking for evidence of manslaughter. Talk about being sick to death of something!

Friday News! Here comes the weekend!

* Jon and Kate Plus 8 is soon to be Jon and Kate + 8 – Jon. He’s looking for a new place to live.This is so sad.

* New Modest Mouse song! It’s called “Whale Song” so you know that it’s good.

* Sherlock Holmes’s posters! Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law! Exciting!

* The Proposal and Year One both come out today! Which is your pick? Which movie do you think will do better? As much as I love me some Ryan Reynolds, Michael Cera will always win my heart.

* Jennifer Love Hewitt wrote a book on dating. Probably because she has the word “love” in her name.

* Two of my favourite people are going to have a TV show together! Jason Schwartzman (rumored to be in Toronto right now), and Zach Galifianakis (the crazy one from The Hangover) are going to be in an HBO show series titled Bored to Death. It will premiere in September and also features other favorites of mine Parker Posey, and Kristen Wiig! It looks so good!

* Katherine Heigl is returning to Grey’s Anatomy and T.R. Knight is leaving.

* All you lucky people with tickets to a Blink-182 show this summer should be even more excited because of the NEW SONG they’ll be playing on the road. New Blink + Blink Tour = Super Awesome Fun Times?

* In other tour news, Modest Mouse is going out for a jaunt this summer, and they’re leaving Johnny Marr at home!
