Some of y’all might be tearing the town up tonight, but I’ll be planted firmly on my couch with MINIMUM 3 scary movies - ones I’ve never seen before! Here’s what I’m thinking of renting: Drag Me To Hell, [REC] and… Hocus Pocus. Ok, I know that one’s not scary, but it’s essential Halloween viewing. Also, it made Kate cry when she was a Brownie. Anyway, what would you rent if you were in my shoes? I don’t do gore well (no Saws, no Hostels please - however, I will watch ANY zombie movie) - but what would you recommend?
Happy Halloween weekend - and remember, don’t lose cell phone reception!!
FourFour, you crazy genius, you’ve done it again!!!!!

The tracklist for the New Moon soundtrack was revealed yesterday (finally!) and bares both: the good and the bad (nothing involving RPats and Tay Tay could ever be ugly).
So, in with the good: THE SOUNDTRACK IS GOING TO BE TWI-MAZING (too much?) and out with the bad: RPatz will NOT be serenading you into an obsess-icoma this time around – well, at least not musically. Not to worry though, while he may not be on the tracklist for the New Moon soundtrack, this dreamy fang boat will still be on the album cover. So all’s not completely lost, right?
Tracklist after the jump!

Matt Damon stars as a bumbling double-agent in The Informant, which hits theatres today. Sarah Taylor recently staked out a spot on the TIFF red carpet for an interview with the actor.
Finally, Matt Damon showed up to discuss the acceptability of lying with Sarah. It’s something he does a lot in the film.
“It’s definitely OK to lie,” the actor said. “And we should lie, there’s some things you have to lie about.”
“Like what, what do you lie about?” Sarah asked.
“That dress looks great on you,” Matt replied. “I mean, it’s something that every husband, you say that to your wife, no, you should always mean it, I do always mean it, always.”
Of course, Sarah was telling the truth when she complemented Matt on his appearance. The actor packed on the pounds for The Informant, and then seemed to lose them just as quickly.
“A lot of running, boxing that kind of stuff , and then no more cheeseburgers,” he said.
For more from Matt Damon and all the other stars who turned up at the festival, be sure to check out MuchNewsWeekly’s TIFF special, Tuesday at 10pm ET.

Ummm, what is this???
A new zombie movie I didn’t know about? With Abigail Breslin? And it’s comedy-ish? I dunno, brah. This may have double-bill-lazy-afternoon promise. I can’t tell yet. Could be fun, could be a trainwreck. Thoughts?

REASONS WHY I AM EXCITED:
1. Quentin motherflipping Tarantino will be on MOD tomorrow (with Eli Roth, aka Donny Donowitz in the movie, aka director of Hostel). As far as I’m concerned, QT is BAWSE and I will be doing everything in my power to not physically launch myself at him with a stream of nonsensical blabber.
2. Inglourious Basterds opens in just over a week. I saw it, I love it, I will be seeing it again on opening night.
OTHER THINGS THAT ARE RANDOM BUT NOT REALLY CAUSE THEY’RE RELATED TO THE ABOVE:
1. The LA premiere of Basterds took place last night. Brangelina showed up and looked hot. Every time they show up in public together, babies are made around the world.
2. QT is a prankster on set, as seen with this slightly NSFW stunt he has been known to pull on location.
3. In preparation for tomorrow’s EXCITING MOD INTERVIEW, check out the Basterds website and download yo’self a spiffy wallpaper like I did!

On Friday, July 24th, I got the opportunity to go on a date with Tim Deegan to go see “The Ugly Truth”. Not a conventional “man-date” kind of movie, but it was a decent romantic comedy for what it’s worth.
Despite the nerves I had going in to the entire experience, everyone at Much made me feel really at ease and internally calmed me down. Tim was really nice and cool, putting up with me for the time he did, he should get an award or something. The movie was a well-deserved three shirtless Deegans out of five. Sorry that they couldn’t pull off a five for all the girls out there who want to see a shirtless Tim. Maybe next time?

The teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland is already blowing my mind.
Can we all just agree that Johnny Depp wins at everything? Why must we wait until March 2010! That is so late late late!

There are two sides to the Megan Fox argument right now. No, three.
Argument 1: Oh my god, I hate her.
Argument 2: Oh my god, I want to do her.
Argument 3: You know, maybe she could be ok, with the right direction and once she shuts up a little.
I’m somewhere in the “not-paying-attention” category, but Diablo Cody has entered the situation and this means I must invest some attention. Say what you will about Diabs, but I think she’s got a fresh, funny mind (and her Tweets are top notch). The United States of Tara proves that she’s no one-trick Pony, either. Thus, I’m all over her upcoming horror movie - I’ll pass on the generic creepy thrillrides but any horror flick with sass, humour and smarts is AWESOME by me. Check out the trailer!
