Kiwi pop mashers the Ruby Suns will release their third full-length, Christopher, via Sub Pop on January 29th, and like their previous effort, Fight Softly, they’ve morphed their sound once again. First single “Kingfisher Call Me” sounds an awful lot like Yeasayer’s recent foray into electronically textured avant-pop.

Purity Ring have altered their “Belispeak” single to suit the madcap flow of Danny Brown. According to the duo’s label 4AD, Brown reached out to Purity Ring’s Twitter and “reimagined ‘Belispeak’s’ fairy-tale creepiness as an evocative snapshot of his childhood in Detroit, while Corin Roddick reworked the production into a maximalist banger.” Stream it below [...]
