Top Ten Thursdays!

The video for Telephone by Beyonce and Lady Gaga drops this week. The secrecy surrounding this video is tighter than Heidi Montag’s new forehead. I got to thinking about how many great, and not so great songs are about Telephones. So, I did what I do best – made a top ten list!

Ne-Yo Held By Authorities In Norway

Ne-Yo was detained in Oslo, Norway on Saturday after a member of his entourage allegedly assaulted a busboy. Lady Gaga is “musical junk food”

A study by the Boston Public Health Commission says Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance” promotes unhealthy relationships. The group, which analyzed the lyrics of hundreds of songs released in 2009, says the song is the musical equivalent of junk food. Her song “Paparazzi” got a failing grade as well.

Moms of T-Pain, Lil’ Wayne & Ne-Yo for talk show

The moms of T-Pain, Lil’ Wayne and Ne-Yo are teaming up for their very own TV show. Aliyah “Mama Pain” Najm (T-Pain), Jacida Carter (Weezy) and H. Loraine Smith (Ne-Yo) will host Dinner Table Discussions, a “quality and informative program” along the lines of The View.

Hear the new Rihanna single now!

Rihanna has officially released her new single and you can hear it right now. Titled “Russian Roulette,” the song is now streaming at her website. The song is the first single from her forthcoming new album, RATED R, which will be released on Monday November 23rd.
